This diagram shows the process of protein synthesis, which begins with DNA in the nucleus being transcribed into RNA.
The RNA then travels out of the nucleus and into the cytoplasm, where it binds to ribosomes.
The ribosomes use the RNA as a template to assemble amino acids into proteins through a process called translation.
