For example, one can learn the language and customs of the new culture while still maintaining their own values and beliefs. This can be done by engaging in activities that are meaningful to one's own identity, such as participating in cultural events or engaging in activities that are important to one's own culture. Additionally, one can also form relationships with people from the new culture who share similar values and beliefs. By doing so, one can learn about the new culture while still maintaining their own identity. Ultimately, it is possible to survive and thrive in a new culture without completely giving in to it, and it is important to remember that one's identity is not lost in the process.
