Question
5. A developmental psychologist believes that children who attend preschool at the ages
of 3 and 4 become better readers by 2nd grade. To test this hypothesis, all children
entering kindergarten at a local school were screened to find out if they had attended
preschool. Twice a year for kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades, all the children were
tested to see how well they were progressing with learning how to read. Ten years
later, the developmental psychologist decided to follow up with the same group of
kids before they graduated high school. This time, he gathered data on each students
GPA and what level English classes they had been taking in high school.
