word. What is the book trying to
tell you? What can we, as a
human species, learn from this
text? Even a nonfiction text has a
purpose. In order to do well on
this project, the themes you
identify must be complex and
well-developed. Something like "be
nice to others," or "love," will not
suffice.

theme. Explain how it supports
your theme (2-3 sentences)
