Politics is the process of making decisions that apply to members of a group. It is a necessary part of any society, as it helps to ensure that the needs of the group are met. However, it is not inevitable, as it is possible for a society to exist without politics. In theory, politics could be brought to an end if all members of a society agreed on a set of rules and regulations that everyone followed without any need for decision-making or debate. This is unlikely to happen in practice, however, as it is difficult to get everyone to agree on the same set of rules.
