development of nuclear power to solve our energy and environmental
crises. Many nuclear power plants are being decommissioned (closed
down) including Indian Point in New York (only 33 miles from St.
Joseph's) and plants in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. This energy
has to be replaced by something. What thoughts, opinions or
questions do you have about this topic that you might present to a
national level government official or presidential candidate? How
about a local politician or energy policy group?

I believe that nuclear power should continue to be used and developed as a viable energy source to address our energy and environmental crises. I would ask a national level government official or presidential candidate what their plans are to replace the energy from decommissioned nuclear power plants, and how they plan to ensure the safety of nuclear power plants in the future. I would also ask a local politician or energy policy group what their plans are to ensure the safety of nuclear power plants in their area, and how they plan to ensure that the energy from decommissioned nuclear power plants is replaced.
